Provocell™ Shaking Micro Incubator

Combining an advanced microprocessor-based control system and Peltier technology, Esco Provocell provides outstanding performances, accuracy, reliability and user-friendly operation. The Provocell can be used on a bench top or in a biological safety or laminar flow cabinet without the contamination associated with alternative options like water, or liquid cooling baths. Provocell has a wide variety of mixing applications from accurate control of various reactions to denaturation of nucleic acids and proteins.

Mixing

Provocell uses only top quality components. The motor generates a rotation speed up to 1500rpm with a rotation axis of 3mm in diameter. Stable rotation is also one of the most important factors to create accurate mixing conditions. With Provocell, vortexing is guaranteed by the rotational speed. The block is mounted to the main body using 4 strong screws to enhance stability. The long life motor minimizes maintenance costs.

 

User Friendly Operation

The large Vacuum Fluorescent display (VFD) allows the operator to have a clear view of the current temperature, speed and time. The VFD has bright colours for easy viewing. Operational parameters are displayed in different colours so that the operator can easily differentiate the various programmed parameters. Provocell is controlled by a state-of-the-art micro processor. The pre-programmed interface is designed to be user-friendly and allows the operator to modify temperature, time and speed during operation.

 

Flexibility

Provocell is designed to suit most of your laboratory applications. A selection of mixing blocks are available, suitable for different tube sizes.

Provocell™ shaking micro incubator uses advanced Peltier technology for cooling and heating. This allows rapid switching from heating to cooling and italics. Accurate temperature control, homogeneity and spread are guaranteed.

This system is environmentally friendly. No coolants are used, therefore, no maintenance is required.

The Peltier module uses quality semiconductor materials to achieve outstanding heating and cooling performance. Special ceramic materials combined with stress release technology, prevent damage resulting from rapid temperature changes, ensuring a long operating lifespan.

Peltier modules are distributed uniformly under the metal block, guaranteeing temperature homogeneity. Furthermore, an aluminium block and the unique structural design of the Peltier modules, combined with a powerful fan, dissipate the heat effectively and considerably improves the cooling and heating process.
